FAQS

During the 6 months of the program the co-hort will meet virtually as a group to cultivate a rest practice in community. The 6 months will also include 1:1 virtual session with one of Re-Cede’s trained facilitators. In month 2, the co-hort and facilitators will travel on an all expenses paid restoration retreat.
Great question! The short answer is “no”. Though Re-Cede’s facilitator will provide an array of resources to help you in your rest journey. There may be optional reading or practices offered to you, but they are just that — optional. :)
The Rest Collective is a financially free program.
Though Re-Cede does recognize this program may have a cost impact beyond money (on time, health, care for self and others, etc.).
The catch is you get to rest. Re-Cede’s mission is to invest in the rest and restoration of racial justice leaders and we aim to live out this mission with second co-hort in 2026.
